A few key pieces, so many work & weekend looks...

I'm no fashion blogger. And I'm a pretty awkward model! But loads of you have been asking what I'm wearing now I'm back at work (in an actual office, instead of from home in my trackies!) four days a week.

So, I've teamed up with one of my faves Shabby Sisters to bring you a few of my work life looks that can be easily switched up for weekends as well.

After my first week of work I realised everything I had was, while work appropriate (I work in an agency so jeans are ok sometimes - yay!), were all black, white and grey. Yep, all of them. I'm a big monochrome lover, BUT thought it was about time I incorporated some colour into my wardrobe. And I was searching for some won't-break-the-bank pieces.

I started with three pieces from Shabby Sisters' - the Fifi shift dress in blush, the Cross My Heart knit in beige and the staple Demi black jeans, added in some white jeans from The Iconic (by Atmos and Here), and mixed and matched with a few basics I already had (denim shirt, leather jacket, white shirt and shoes).

The outcome was at least eight to ten outfits that can take you from work to mum life to weekend fun, with just a switch of shoes, jacket or jeans. And they all won't break the bank.

Black Demi jeans from Shabby Sisters, shoes Solsana from The Iconic, white shirt and leather jacket from Witchery.

Because mum life never stops and I'm no model - trying to be all 'nonchalant model' while this one is running after me tantruming #mumlife.

White Atmos and Here jeans, white Adidas Originals snakeskin (from the US), Blush Fifi dress from Shabby Sisters.

Shabby Sisters knit and jeans, Solsana shoes, Witchery white shirt.

Switching the black jeans for white, and the black shoes for Asos Rose Gold Brogues.

Blush Fifi Shabby Sisters dress, Adidas kicks, denim shirt from G-Star.

Mixing it all up and trying to convince my Insta husband to actually take some better pictures ;)

It can be really hard when you're going into a new role to feel like you look like you, and feel confident. You might feel like a duck out of water for a while, and that's completely normal!

I know I've found having new pieces in my wardrobe really helped me feel kick ass taking on my new job - I know, I know, probably not the best thing to say, but shopping is always the answer, right?! Haha. At least you can tell your other half that "a blogger told me so!" next time you're busted trying to hide a sneaky purchase from him (but at least with these ones you won't be spending THAT much!).

Happy shopping, and thanks so much to Kylie at Shabby Sisters for the gifted pieces!
